My tasks are test planning and estimation, requirements analysis and creation of development guides; manual testing both client and server sides (including test cases creation and verification, defects creation and verification, smoke testing, requirements testing, regression testing, security testing, localization testing, compatibility testing, work with database and xml documents), creation of scenarios for test automation and execution of automated test cases, communication with customer and developers, participation in project-related meetings; testing of mobile version. Customer:Thomson Reuters Project description: Reuters Insider portal, Desktop Studio and Embedded Player sub-projects Reuters Insider is a web application provided by Thomson Reuters that offers financial videos for viewing online. Two sub-projects: 1.Desktop Studio – it’s a multimedia project which allows to create and edit content for publishing into the Reuters Insider platform. In addition, there is a standalone version of DS that runs in the Adobe AIR environment. 2. Embedded Player - it is used to embed content from the Reuters Insider platform on customer's websites. Tools and methods used: Rally, HP Quality Center, Firebug, Fiddler, SoapUI, SCRUM Responsibilities: I was a primary person responsible for testing of Desktop Studio / Embedded Player. My tasks were test planning and estimation, testing of front end and used web-services (including test cases creation and verification, defects creation and verification, smoke testing, requirements analysis and testing, regression testing), communication with customer and developers, participation in project-related meetings and also leading of 2 other testers.
