 Used the situational leadership approach for running the team of 7 persons situated at 3 locations across EMEA; during 3 years, I have contributed to the career advancement of 3 team members.  Acted as a trusted business advisor to a newly appointed plant manager, substantially contributed to the transparency increase of the cost fluctuations and performance reporting, made proposals for the development of the internal control system.  Participated in various IT and M&A projects whereby acted as a finance expert in the fields of Local GAAP to US GAAP data conversion, IFRS application, purchase price allocation, carve-out FS preparation and big data analysis. I have developed and successfully defended towards our Group auditors a 50 MUSD potential gross profit misstatement case of Company-specific Sales Revenue Recognition Criteria that were different from the ones prescribed by the applicable Incoterms and new IFRS 15 rules. In the course of the project realization, I had to process more than 1 million data extract lines from SAP organized over 7 Excel files varying in size from 30Mb to almost 200 Mb – one file per EMEA jurisdiction involved.  Ensured compliance (annual reporting, audit requirements, fiscal audits) for the continuously expanding scope (15 Group entities with a turnover of 500 MEUR, including 5 chemical plants)  Led the project for the implementation of finance-related critical internal controls and coordinated the internal audit findings remediation project for two newly acquired production sites; coordinated the annual budget preparation for a production site.

 Successfully completed the accounting migration project (from a Swiss to a newly created Cyprus team of six persons).
