Senior Process Manager
As a senior process manager at eClerx, I served the marketing BI division of a computer technology company. My duties involved the following: • Design and perform UAT of Excel dashboards. The dashboards track metrics such as marketing activities and spend across regions and time. • Lead 2 other team members to setup and execute the reports regularly. • Comment on trends observed in reports. • Analyze backend data of reports to provide insights and recommendations • Perform adhoc analytics. Examples: • Identified cross-selling opportunity for 49% of churning accounts to reduce yearly $ churn by 74% and further classified 9% of churning accounts as easy cross-sell targets which could reduce $ churn by 36% ($29M). This was achieved by performing customer segmentation and 80-20 analyses. • Discovered opportunity to increase revenue from key accounts in a country by $58M (18%) by improving the share of wallet of 3% of these accounts to a minimum defined level. This was done by coming up with a methodology to rank accounts based on high buying power, high revenue and low share of wallet. • Used classification techniques such as logistic regression to solve business issues o Modeled revenue patterns for one country to predict margin changes. Found that increasing sales of one product group by $0.8M per quarter has the potential to increase overall business unit margins by $3.7M per quarter. o Modeled prospect customers and new purchasers to identify characteristics of prospects for improved targeting. Provided recommendations to reduce churn by 6% a year. • Developed an initial version of a model to help allocate marketing budget for a business unit for the next fiscal year across regions and activities • Came up with an approach to determine effectiveness (marketing RoI) of gift card programs for a client and analyzed gift card issuance and redemption data • Extract and provide client with data for business decision making from SQL databases, Teradata, Datameer, Salesforce.com, Tableau reports, sharepoint, etc. • Automate manual tasks of client and in report execution using Excel VBA.
